Marigold 344BIL-SC Packing is something of a hybrid of our Marigold 344BIL and our Marigold 344-SC. This packing is manufactured from pure PTFE filament, a PTFE blocking agent and the same break in lubricant used in 344BIL and the silicone core used in 344-SC.
The resulting packing offers outstanding chemical resistance (0-14 pH), excellent heat dispersion and very low friction during both operation and start up. The silicone core also allows 344BIL-SC to maintain excellent packing to shaft contact even with disfigured or deflecting shafts.
This high quality packing is typically used in pump applications at temperatures up to 260°C where it is expected to be exposed to aggressive chemicals.

Available Sizes
Available in sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 19mm² as standard, AG can provide Marigold 344BIL-SC Packing in standard (8mtr), pre-cut or extra-long lengths.
AG can also supply pre-formed packing rings to for easy installation.
