Marigold 5000 Packing is a high quality braided packing manufactured from high purity graphite yarns. Used in both pump and valve sealing applications, Marigold 5000 Packing is a low friction and self-lubricating packing that also exhibits excellent heat dissipation properties.

Utilised in applications with air up to 455ºC, steam up to 649ºC or in non-oxidising atmospheres all the way to over 3,000ºC, Marigold 5000 Packing is used on shafts rated up to 20 MPS.

When subjected to gland pressure, Marigold 5000 forms a homogenous mass which allows it to offer maximum sealability and therefore result in reduced flush water usage. This plait braided packing also offers outstanding chemical resistance (used with chemicals across the entire 0-14 pH scale) and long lasting performance.

Available Sizes

Marigold 5000 Packing is available from AG in standard sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm² (custom sizes can also be produced upon request). AG offers this high quality packing by the metre, on custom sized spools or can even use it to create fully fabricated preformed packing rings to match the exact dimensions of your application.
