Marigold 5000-OCC Packing is a interlock braided packing designed for long lasting performance in demanding applications. This packing is manufactured from a combination of high purity graphite yarns reinforced with high strength carbon filament and is self-lubricating. Used in both pump and valve applications, Marigold 5000-OCC is easy to cut and install.

This high quality packing it used in high temperature environments and can withstand air at 455ºC, steam to 649ºC and non-oxidising atmospheres up to 3315ºC. It has a shaft speed rating of 22 MPS and is used in very high pressure valve applications up to 340 BAR and lower pressure pumps to 34 BAR.

The unique blend of graphite and carbon utilised in the construction of Marigold 5000-OCC allows this packing to offer excellent heat dissipation characteristics and outstanding chemical resistance (0-14 pH). Marigold 5000-OCC generates very low levels of shaft wear and degradation whilst still maintaining a good rate of contact and allowing very low rates of leakage.

Marigold 5000-OCC is available from AG in sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm². This premium grade packing is available in short lengths when required and can also be produced in custom sizes if your application requires it.
