AG’s Marigold 3000G Packing is a compression packing manufactured from continuous acrylic blended fibres, impregnated with high temperature lubricant and finished with high purity graphite. An economical grade of packing, 3000G is dense but flexible and is widely used in a range of both pump and valve packing applications.

Black in colour, Marigold 3000G is interlock braided into a high density construction. Though still flexible, this ensures that Marigold 3000G will create a leak-free seal and offer long lasting performance.

Marigold 3000G Packing exhibits good resistance to steam, water, oil, salt water and mild acid or alkalis. It is used in applications with medium severity chemicals that fall between 4-10 on the pH scale.

For typical applications, Marigold 3000G Packing is employed where temperatures range from -110ºC through to 260ºC. This packing has been designed to handle shaft speeds of up to 5MPS and pressures ranging up to 20 BAR.

Available Sizes

AG carries Marigold 3000G Packing in a large range of sizes. Standard sizes range from 3.2mm² through to 25.4mm² though other custom sizes can also be produced and some may already be available in stock.

In addition to these, AG also produces a number of different sizes of preformed packing rings from Marigold 3000G and would be happy to work with you to design rings to suit your application.
