AG’s Marigold 5000CC Packing is a plait braided packing manufactured from high purity graphite yarns that are reinforced with high strength carbon filament. Suitable for use in both pump and valve applications, this high quality packing is designed to be highly durable and easy to install. Marigold 5000C has a very low leakage rate whilst also being self-lubricating and generating very low rates of shaft wear.

Marigold 5000C is manufactured from a unique blend of graphite and carbon which allows excellent heat dissipation. This packing is utilised in air applications up to 455ºC, steam to 649ºC and non-oxidising atmospheres all the way up to 3315ºC. It has a shaft speed rating of 25 MPS and is used in valve applications with a 170 BAR pressure rating or 34 BAR pump applications.

Capable of withstanding attack from chemicals across the entire 0-14 pH scale, Marigold 5000C Packing is very long lasting and features excellent extrusion resistance.

This packing is available from AG in standard sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm², though custom sizes are also available if required. We can supply this packing in short lengths or in custom sizes spools and will be happy to work with you to find the best solution for your application.
