Marigold 345 Packing is a very economical grade of packing designed to offer versatility, reliability and long lasting performance. This grade has been designed specifically for use in pump sealing applications where it offers reliable service.

Marigold 345 is produced from a proprietary blend of high quality flax and ramie yarns which are impregnated with a PTFE inert lubricant. The resulting plait braided packing is easy to cut and install whilst simultaneously offering excellent braid retention and a good amount of flexibility. This combination of characteristics makes Marigold 345 very easy to cut and install.

Marigold 345 is typically used in pump applications with shaft speeds up to 9 MPS and pressure ratings no higher than 20 BAR. This packing handles temperatures up to 104ºC and offers long lasting performance coupled with good resistance to corrosion. This combination of factors makes Marigold 345 Packing ideal for use in both saltwater and freshwater marine applications thanks to its low initial cost and extended service life.

Available Sizes

AG’s Marigold 345 Packing is offered in standard sizes which range from 3.2mm² through to 25.4mm² though other sizes can be produced upon request. This packing is usually supplied in 8mtr packs though bulk rolls and specially pre-cut lengths can also be arranged when desired.
