Marigold 3000T-K Packing is a heavy duty, reinforced version of our general purpose Marigold 3000T. Like Marigold 3000T, 3000T-K is manufactured from acrylic blended fibres that are impregnated with PTFE and an inert lubricant however 3000T-K also features aramid corners which are extremely durable and increase this grades resistance to abrasion over its long service life.
Marigold 3000T-K Packing is non-staining and non-contaminating and offers low friction during both start-up and operation. It is used in applications with temperatures up to 260ºC and that are between 2-12 on the pH scale, have a shaft speed of 11 MPS and a pressure rating of no greater than 34 BAR. This has seen this packing used extensively in centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating pump applications, as well as valve service and other static applications.
