Marigold 8010 is a high pressure grade of pump packing manufactured from a soft fibreglass core over which anti-friction lead alloy is twisted and formed. Finally, Marigold 8010 Packing is impregnated with a proprietary low friction lubricant that gives it its low shaft wear and high heat dissipation characteristics.
Soft but dense, Marigold 8010 Packing is an outstanding choice for end rings or anti-extrusion rings. This packing is utilised in applications with shaft speeds of up to 18 MPS and pressures of 68 BAR. Marigold 8010 Packing withstands temperatures up to 232ºC.
Ideally suited to a range of high pressure applications, Marigold 8010 Packing is often employed in boiler feed, reciprocating or rotating pump service especially as end rings where packing extrusion is evident.

This grade is available from AG in sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm² and can also be produced in custom sizes when required. Pre-formed rings for easy installation are also available upon request,
