Manufactured from anti-friction lead allow impregnated with a proprietary low friction lubricant, Marigold 8012 Packing exhibits very low friction and excellent heat dissipation characteristics. Typically used in high pressure pump applications, this quality grade of packing is soft but dense which makes it an excellent choice for end rings or anti-extrusion rings.
Marigold 8012 Packing is utilised in applications with maximum temperatures up to 232ºC and a media pH valve between 4 and 10. It is employed with pumps with a maximum shaft speed rating of 18 MPS and in environments where pressures reach 68 BAR.
Utilised in a variety of high pressure applications, Marigold 8012 Packing is often installed in boiler feed, reciprocating or rotating pump service. It is also commonly employed as end rings in applications where packing extrusion is evident.
