Marigold 8000TLB Packing is an interlock braided packing that exhibits higher extrusion resistance than many other graphite/PTFE packing whilst still remaining easy to cut and install.

Manufactured from a blend of high quality graphite and PTFE filaments, Marigold 8000TLB Packing also contains a high-speed lubricant for quick break-in and low friction operation. Finally, blue tracer threads are added to this mix to assist with grade identification.

This high quality packing combines the heat dissipation properties of graphite with the outstanding chemical resistance of PTFE and is used in a wide variety of applications. Marigold 8000TLB Packing has a temperature rating of 288ºC coupled with a high shaft speed rating (21.8 MPS) and the ability to withstand elevated pressures (20 BAR).

Another characteristic of Marigold 8000TLB Packing is its outstanding chemical resistance. It exhibits good resistance to strong acids & alkalis, steam, ammonia, water, salt water, bromine gas, chlorine gas, petroleum & synthetic oils, aliphatic and aromatic solvents.

Available Sizes

This incredibly versatile packing is available from AG in standard sizes that range from 3.2mm through to 25.4mm. Normal lengths are 8mtrs through longer/shorter lengths can also be produced upon request as well as specialised coils or formed rings.
