Chutex Rubber is a highly elastic, highly durable grade of premium rubber with a 40 durometer hardness. This long lasting rubber is renowned for offering excellent resistance to tearing, abrasion and cutting which has led to its widespread adoption for lining, wear protection, curtaining and skirting applications.

Chutex Rubber is used in applications where temperatures are between -20ºC and 70ºC. It has a minimum tear strength rating of 60 N/mm (ASTM D624), a minimum tensile strength of 18 MPa (ASTM D412) and a minimum elongation at break of 550% (ASTM D412).

Because of this combination of high strength, excellent flexibility, good sealability and outstanding where resistance; Chutex Rubber is a popular choice for a wide range of demanding industrial applications. These include:

• Transfer Socks, Chute and Screen Lining.
• Pipe Repair Bandages.

Available Sizes

Chutex Rubber is available from Associated Gaskets in a number of different forms. These include full rolls, cut lengths and cut components. Our large stock holdings combined with our in-house slitting, knife-cutting, water-cutting, die-cutting and other fabrication facilities allows AG to offer fast, economical and accurate cut Chutex rubber components and seals.

Custom sized components can be produced from dimension lists, drawings, sketches or used samples and can be delivered quickly to match tight lead times. We can also offer slit rolls of Chutex rubber which can be particularly useful for lining applications. These can be slit to whatever width you require and can also be provided with pre-cut bolt holes if you are looking to mechanically fasten the rubber.
