Weicon Silicone N is an ideal adhesive sealant for a wide range of domestic, industrial, and commercial applications. Made with a solvent-free and neutral-curing formula, Silicone N is a strong and permanently elastic silicone that adheres well to steel, aluminum, glass, ceramic, and many other materials.

This one part, RTV Silicone is temperature-resistant up to 180°C and is resistant to weathering, ageing, and a wide range of chemicals. With a typical density of 1.01 g/cm3 and a pasty consistency, this adhesive sealant is easy to apply.

Silicone N has a curing speed of 2-3mm for the first 24 hours and a skin-overtime of 7 minutes. It also has a gap filling capacity of up to 5mm and can accommodate gap widths of up to 25mm.

With a hardness of 20 Shore A ±5 and an elongation at break of 550%, this silicone is strong and flexible. It also has a movement capacity of up to 25%.

Guide to Use

Surfaces must be clean of oil, dust, and dirt before application. These can be removed with Weicon Surface Cleaner. For heavily soiled metal surfaces, Weicon Cleaner S Spray can be used while Weicon Sealant and Adhesive Remover is suitable for removing old paint or adhesive residues.

Most materials can be bonded well to themselves and among each other. For certain materials or extreme requirements, we recommend the use of an adhesion agent primer. A mechanical surface pre-treatment, e.g. sanding, sandblasting, grinding, can also approve adhesion.
