RTV 627 Silicone Rubber Compound is a two part silicone rubber that will cure at room temperature. This high quality product is used for potting and encapsulation applications and has UL recognised Flame Retardancy properties. RTV 627  has a 1:1 mix ratio which allows for convenient mixing by weight or volume using either automatic dispensing equipment or hand-held equipment.

RTV 627’s chemical composition contains no solvents for ease of use on production lines and has a low viscosity which allows easy flow around complex parts. Further strengthening its ability to fill voids, RTV 627 will cure in deep sections or enclosed assemblies with low shrinkage. It is both reversion resistant and hydrolytically stable and can be used in applications where temperatures range up to 204ºC.

RTV 627 is supplied by AG in 9.98kg kits which contain both the black RTV627A and beige RTV627B. When mixed these two form a dark grey silicone which has a work time of 2 hours at 25ºC. Curing can then be accelerated by applying heat.
