Weicon Epoxy Resin Putty is an incredibly versatile and easy to use compound that is used in a variety of repair, maintenance and construction applications. This easy-to-apply and kneadable two part putty is cold curing and bonds well to metals, wood, glass, rubber, ceramics, concrete and most plastics.
Once cured, Weicon Epoxy Resin Putty is green in colour and has a hardness of 87 Shore D. The cured material can be machined (drilled, filed, milled, etc…) and over-painted without pre-treatment.
Manufactured from a special mix of mineral filled epoxy resin, Weicon Epoxy Resin Putty cures in approximately 3 hours (at 20ºC, application of additional heat will accelerate curing) and, once cured, resists temperatures between -35ºC and 200ºC.
Weicon Epoxy Resin Putty has a mix ratio of 1:1 which allows for easy and accurate mixing and is used for covering gaps up to 15mm without reinforcement (for larger gaps, reinforcing with a fibreglass cloth is suggested).
