Refrasil UC series cloth is the standard grade of Refrasil cloth. Available in a range of different thicknesses (0.75mm to 1.5mm), our Refrasil UC series woven fabric cloth is a tan coloured material that offers the user protection in environments ranging up to 982ºC. This material exhibits the low thermal conductivity, low halogen content and high resistance to molten metals and radiant heat that are synonymous with AG’s Refrasil range.
UC series Refrasil cloth is also available complete with a number of different pre-applied coatings. These include Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA), Silicone Rubber, Aluminium, Vermiculite and Black Iron Oxide. The Black Oxide treated cloth is especially useful in welding blanket applications due to its ability to reduce glare whilst maintaining the strong temperature resistant characteristics of the base Refrasil material.
Along with our entire range of thermal material, AG is able to offer a number of different fabrication services for the UC Series Refrasil Cloth. These include, but are not limited to, slitting, water-cutting, sewing, and the use of the cloth in the construction of any number of insulating blankets, curtains, covers or components.

Refrasil Insulation Cloth is widely used in a range of thermal insulation applications which require long term resistance to high temperatures. These include welding blanket, pipe insulation, curtain, pump cover, expansion joint and all manner of custom insulation components.
