Designed specifically for use as a bull or anti-extrusion ring, Marigold 895 Packing is a specialised grade that has been braided from soft, annealed copper. As a result of the unique braiding process used in its construction, Marigold 895 Packing is extremely dense but still remains flexible making it easy to cut and install.
As you would expect from a packing constructed from copper, Marigold 895 Packing exhibits good resistance to elevated temperatures (up to 815ºC). It also withstands medium pressures (68 BAR) and carries a shaft speed rating of 5 MPS.
As a result of the material used in its construction, Marigold 895 Packing is employed only in applications with mild and non-corrosive media with a near neutral pH (4-10).

Available Sizes
Marigold 895 Packing is available from AG in 3.2mm² through to 25.4mm² as standard. When required, we can also supply this packing in non-standard sizes or custom lengths (the standard is 8mtrs).
