Braided from pure graphite filament, Marigold 8000G Packing is engineered to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures as well as applications involving aggressive chemicals. This premium grade of packing is impregnated with a proprietary blocking agent and a graphite flake finish which results in an extremely low coefficient of friction along with extremely high thermal conductivity.
Manufactured using a unique interlock braiding process, Marigold 8000G Packing remains flexible and resists fraying when cut.
Utilised in applications with a pH of 0-14 and a shaft speed of up to 20 MPS, this high quality packing exhibits resistance to temperatures of up to 455ºC in air, 649ºC in steam and 3315ºC in non-oxidising atmospheres.
Marigold 8000G Packing is used in valves, centrifugal pumps, rotary pumps and reciprocating pumps with high pressures (34 BAR for pumps / 170 BAR for valves).

Marigold 8000G Packing is available from AG in standard and non-standard sizes and can be supplied in standard lengths of 8mtrs, custom lengths or in preformed packing rings for easy installation.
