Marigold 5000IJ Packing is a specialised grade of valve packing designed for applications that require extremely low average emission rates (at or below 5 PPM). This specialised grade of packing is produced using Inconel® jacketed flexible graphite and a specially engineered mix of corrosion inhibitors. The result is a high performance packing that dramatically cuts fugitive emissions over multiple thermal cycles.
Stable yet flexible, Marigold 5000IJ Packing is non-scoring and self-lubricating. It exhibits excellent resistance to elevated temperatures (455ºC in air, 649ºC in steam and 1100ºC in non-oxidising atmospheres) coupled with very high pressure resistance (448 BAR).
Utilised with media across the entire 0-14 pH scale, Marigold 5000IJ Packing represents a single spool solutions for LDAR programs where EPA standard compliance or low emission certification is required.
