Marigold 359 Packing is a specialised grade of packing specifically designed for sealing tank covers, hatches and lids that store highly aggressive media.
This high quality product is manufactured from PTFE which is braided over a rubber core. This combination allows Marigold 359 Packing to offer the unparalleled chemical resistance and sealability of PTFE with the compression recovery properties or a braided packing.
Marigold 359 Packing is used in applications where temperatures reach as high as 121ºC and with media across the entire 0-14 pH scale. It carries a pressure rating of 0.7 BAR and has been thoroughly tested to be impervious to liquids and gases. Style 359 was specifically designed for sealing all International Maritime Organization liquid classes and is not recommended for use on shafts.
