Isonom NMN is a quality, multi-layered insulation material which combines the insulation strength of PET film with the mechanical protection offered by genuine calendered Nomex® from DuPont. This flexible insulation material is utilised in electrical applications with temperature ratings up to 155ºC and combines excellent mechanical properties such as high tensile strength and edge tear resistance with high electrical insulation performance.
Isonom NMN 0881 has a smooth surface which allows for trouble free installation and application and is available in a wide range of thicknesses (the table below provides more information on these). Typically used as a slot line, slot closure of for phase insulation in low voltage motors, Isonom NMN is also utilised as an interlayer insulation in transformers.
