Manufactured by Isovolta, Deglas FG 2949 Varnished Glass Cloth is made from a e-glass cloth which is coated with a specially modified polyester resin. The result is a very flexible electrical insulation material used in 180ºC (Class H) electrical applications.
Deglas FG 2949 combines excellent mechanical properties like high tensile strength with high electrical resistance to form a insulation material which is exceptionally versatile and easy to use. Yellow in colour, our Varnished Glass Cloth has a smooth surface finish for easy application and trouble free manufacture.
Deglas FG 2949 is often used as phase insulation in production and repair of low and medium voltage motors as well as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical apparatus.
