HC95 Cork is a specialised grade of cork sheet that is manufactured with a very high rubber content and exhibits excellent sealability. Produced by Amorim, the global leader in cork composite materials, HC95 features large (0.5-1mm) cork granules dispersed through a specialised nitrile (NBR) rubber binder.

This grade is typically used for electrical bushing applications and sealing in transformers. It features excellent compatibility with mineral, ester and silicone based oils (according to ASTM D3455 test methods) and electrical insulation oils of a petroleum origin (ASTM D5282).

HC95 Cork is black in colour and typically used in applications with temperatures between -30ºC and 125ºC. This grade is extremely flexible (no cracks present after an ASTM F 147 test) and offers good compressibility, excellent recovery and very low volume change when exposed to oil.

HC95 Cork is available from AG in sheets measuring 915mm² and in the standard thicknesses listed below (others may be available upon request, contact your local AG branch for more information).
