Gylon 3510 Gasket Material (also known as White Gylon®) is a specialised, high performance gasket material manufactured by Garlock. This gasket sheet is made from barium sulphate filled PTFE and is designed to seal in application with strong caustics and toxic chemicals such as chlorine, ammonia or phosgene.
In these demanding environments, Gylon 3510 maintains a tight seal which results in less product loss, emissions and plant risk.
The unique manufacturing process used for Gylon 3510 minimises the cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE sheets. It also leads to less creep relaxation so gaskets continue to perform.
White Gylon 3510 has a temperature range of -268°C through +260°C. It is used in applications with pressures up to 55 bar (1,200 psi).
Manufactured in the USA, Gylon 3510 is ABS Certified, FDA Compliant, REACH Compliant, RoHS Compliant, USP VI 87 Compliant, USP VI 88 Compliant, ADI/TSE Free.
