Weicon Alu-Grinding Protection Spray is designed for use on all abrasive material foundations and acts like a cooling lubricant and separating agent during the grinding process. Alu-Grinding Protection Spray lowers the temperature at the contact point and forms a silicone-free, anti-adhesive layer on the abrasive material which not only extends the life of cutting equipment, but assists with separation of the parts post-grinding.

Use of Weicon Alu-Grinding Protection Spray prevents clogging of the pores on abrasive materials and increases their surface life by up to 350%; resulting in enormous cost savings measured in both less abrasive material usage and less time wasted changing parts.

Colourless with a solvent-tinged odour, Weicon Alu-Grinding Protection Spray resists temperatures between -20ºC and 130ºC. This silicone-free product is used on serrated grinding wheels and flap wheels, fibre wheel, sheeting and endless grinding bands as well as on abrasive sleeves, orbital sanders and specialised machines used for processing aluminium.

Processing

Spray a sufficient quantity of Weicon Alu-Grinding Protection Spray onto the new abrasive disc. Repeat if grinding performance begins to be reduced. Ensure that grinding does not commence until the spray’s propellant has evaporated otherwise there is a danger of deflagration).
