SoftChem is a high quality, incredibly soft, PTFE gasket material designed for applications where minimal sealing pressures are able to be applied. Manufactured from multidirectional PTFE, this material exhibits excellent creep and corrosion resistance coupled with outstanding resistance to virtually all types of chemicals.

Utilised in applications with temperatures up to 260ºC this material is very easy to work with and, due to its softness, will take up many irregularities in a sealing surface to form a good and long lasting seal. AG offers SoftChem in 1500mm² sheets as standard. This material is available in 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm thick and can be provided in sheet or cut component form.
