Gore GR® gasket material is an exceptionally high quality grade of expanded PTFE sheet which combines outstanding chemical resistance with excellent conformability, temperature resistance and tensile strength. This highly versatile material is manufactured from 100% expanded PTFE and contains no binders, fillers or additives. Because of this unique construction, Gore GR® offers significantly less creep and cold flow than conventional PTFE sheet.

Gore GR® is soft enough to conform to rough sealing surfaces but compresses into a extremely tough gasket which forms a tight, effective and long-lasting seal. This high quality material has been used to seal pressures ranging from vacuum to 200 BAR and displays excellent resistance to all media in the pH 0-14 range, with the exception of molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine.

Gore GR® gaskets have been used in applications with temperatures ranging from -268ºC to 315ºC . Gaskets made from this premium material are often employed for sealing in environments with aggressive chemicals or irregular flanges.

AG offers Gore GR® in standard thicknesses of 1mm, 1.6mm, 3.2mm and 6.4mm  with other sizes available upon special request. This material is available in sheet or cut gasket form. Gore GR® gaskets can be produced to suit all types of standard or non-standard flanges based on either standard flange dimensions or your dimension lists, sketches, drawings or used samples.
