Marigold 8000T-K Packing is a premium grade packing manufactured from very high quality materials. This is a resilient packing that, due in part to the addition of Kevlar® corners to the interlock braid construction, offers excellent resistance to abrasion. With the exception of the Kevlar®, Marigold 8000T-K is manufactured from the same combination of 100% GFO® fibres used in Marigold 8000T. These are high purity graphite filaments encased in a Teflon® matrix to eliminate migration.
Offering low friction performance over a long service life, Marigold 8000T-K is used in applications with a shaft speed of up to 13 MPS. It has a pressure rating of 20 BAR and is used with chemicals falling anywhere on the 0-14 pH scale. Marigold 8000T-K is typically employed for valve, centrifugal pump, reciprocating pump or rotary pump applications where corrosive mediums or highly abrasive conditions are encountered. It has a temperature rating of 275ºC.

Marigold 8000T-K is available from AG in sizes ranging from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm². For custom applications, we can also produce specialised sizes and lengths.
