Isonom BNB 0582 is a specialised, composite insulation material composed of calendered Nomex® paper covered on both sides with a thin layer of highly impregnable glass fleece and bonded with a cured polyurethane resin. This highly flexible material offers a combination of excellent impregnability and high resin absorbance coupled with good mechanical strength.

Featuring both low elongation and good tensile strength, Isonom BNB 0582 is typically used for the manufacture of slot liners, slot channels and phase separators for a range of different types of electric motors. This material can be used in 180ºC (Class H) rated electrical systems.

AG can provide pre-folded slot channels manufactured from Isonom BNB 0582 to match the exact requirements of the conductors being used in your application.
