Epirez 324A epoxy compound is a high quality, versatile, electrical epoxy. Typically supplied in a kit that contains both the compound and hardener as well as plastic measuring cups, mixing paddles and an application guide, Epirez 324A is used for the encapsulation and protection of electrical components as well as the protection of coils and windings. It is also widely employed for the splicing of communication, control and power transmission cables.

This highly versatile epoxy exhibits good dielectric strength (315 kV/cm) and is utilised in applications where temperatures reach as high as 150ºC. When mixed, Epirez 324A has a clear liquid appearance and is used for casting up to a maximum thickness of 20mm. Typical work time for Epirez 324A is 30 minutes (at 25ºC) whilst full cure is usually achieved in approximately 24 hours (at 25ºC).
