Conductofol 0264 Conductor and Cable Insulation Tape is a premium quality electrical tape manufactured by Isovolta. Conductofol 0264 is manufactured from calcined mica paper impregnated with epoxy-resin and bound to a PET film carrier. This carrier is then coated with a special adhesive that melts at temperatures above 100ºC and allows conductors insulated with Conductofol 0264 to be glued together after a short pressing.
This highly flexible tape is typically used for the insulation of copper conductors for high and low voltage machines and can be applied via either machine or manual taping techniques. It is used in applications with thermal classifications of up to 155ºC (tested in accordance with IEC 371 requirements) and, though primarily sought and supplied in tape form, can be provided in log rolls of a number of thicknesses if required.
The 0.09mm thick grade of Conductofol 0264 has a break-down voltage rating of ≥7 kV and a tensile strength of ≥20 N/10mm when tested in line with IEC 371 requirements.
Available Sizes
Standard width rolls of 0.09mm thick Conductofol 0264 Insulation Tape are available in 10mm, 12mm 16mm and 20mm wide (length is 350mtrs). In addition, custom slit rolls and mother roll stock (1020mm wide) are also available upon request. A 0.07mm thick version is also available if required.
