Designed for use in high temperature applications that require a cloth with outstanding insulation characteristics, AG’s Ceramic Fibre Cloth with Fibreglass Reinforcement offers high quality performance over a long service life. This material is manufactured from a specially formulated blend of silica and alumina fibres with an organic binder.

Ceramic Fibre Cloth with Fibreglass Reinforcement withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 800ºC. It has even been used in applications where temperatures reach 1200ºC and tensile and mechanical strength are of no concern. Due to its unique blend of properties, this material is often used for gaskets, hose & pipe insulation and in the construction of thermal shields for extremely high temperature environments.
