C4243 Gasket Material is a highly economical grade of compressed fibre gasket sheet that is designed for general purpose sealing applications. This material is manufactured from organic fibres which are bound with an NBR binder and calendered into a sheet with non-stick surfaces to minimise adhesion to flange surfaces. This is especially important when flanges are being dis-assembled for future maintenance as it saves time and reduces the risk of flange damage when removing an old gasket.

C4243 is designed for sealing liquids and gases at lower pressure and temperature and offers good resistance to water and oil. AG offers this economical grade of gasket material in standard sheets of 2000mm / 1500mm (other sizes are also available upon request). Standard thicknesses are 0.4mm, 0.8mm, 1.5mm and 3mm thick.

By utilising our extensive knife cutting, water cutting and die cutting facilities, AG is also able to offer C4243 finished gaskets in an enormous range of sizes, styles and shapes. Many standard sizes of table gaskets are held in stock whilst custom sizes can be quickly produced without minimum order quantities. For gaskets larger than the sheet, we’re also able to cut in sections complete with dovetailed joins for on-site assembly and effective sealing performance.
