Conafi is a universal gasket material manufactured from high quality mineral and aramid fibres that are bound with an NBR binder. This highly economical, general purpose, calendered gasket material is suitable for a wide range of sealing applications. It is commonly used with water, steam, fuels, oils, natural gas and weak acid or base solutions amongst other types of common media. It is typically employed for sealing in medium pressure applications with temperatures that will not exceed 220ºC (the data sheet should be consulted for more information on maximum temperature).

Boasting approvals from a number of internationally recognised organisations (including Germanischer Lloyd, DVGW, KTW and INIG), Conafi is available in a wide range of thicknesses. Standard sizes begin at 0.8mm thick and range all the way up to 5mm with other sizes also able to be produced upon request. Standard sheet size for this material is 3100mm / 1550mm.

Conafi is available from AG in sheet, strip or cut component form. We’re able to quickly produce either standard or custom sized gaskets from this economical gasket material based on either lists of dimensions, drawings or used samples.
