3M Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a premium grade insulation tape designed for all-weather performance. Black in colour, this tape is manufactured from a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) backing that is combined with a pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive. The result is a physically strong, long lasting electrical insulation tape that has good adhesion to a range of substrates.

This tape is highly conformable and capable of performance in applications where temperatures range from -18ºC to 105ºC. Scotch™ Super 33+ Tape has excellent resistance to abrasion as well as moisture, alkalis, acids and corrosion whilst the combination of an elastic backing and aggressive adhesive means the tape can provide tight electrical and mechanical protection.

3M Super 33+ Electrical Tape is UL listed and compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations as well as rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, epoxy and polyurethane resins. It is commonly used as either primary insulation on wire and cable splices up to 600 volts, for 600 volt bus applications or for the protective jacketing of high voltage cable splices.
