Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 is a dry lubricating spray with outstanding pressure and temperature resistance. Once applied, this high quality technical spray forms a separating layer that repels water, dirt and dust whilst also exhibiting good resistance to oils, greases and a variety of chemicals.
Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 is manufactured using a large percentage of MoS2 which ensures it provides clean sliding lubrication whilst also reducing friction. In addition, this spray has a sound dampening effect which minimises noises during operation and is both ageing and weathering resistant.
Used in temperature between -185ºC and 400ºC Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 creates a constant coefficient of friction on treated parts and is resistant to vacuum environments and radiation. This high quality lubricating spray is extremely resistant to pressure and is free of silicone.
Once a part has been treated with Anti-Friction Spray MoS2, it remains lubricated for a long time. Even after extended periods between use, Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 provides good lubrication.
Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 is used on almost all metal, plastic and wood surfaces. Typical applications include:
- Sliding and running rails and guides
- Conveyor belts, conveyor rollers and chutes
- As a coating on cutting tools
- On loading bridges, sectional gates, roller shutters, loading sheets or elevating platforms
- On locking mechanisms
- As an alternative to silicone based release agents (such as our Silicone Spray)
- Wherever oil or grease lubricants are not permitted

Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 is available in 400ml aerosol cans.
Processing
Surfaces or parts should be cleaned and degreased prior to application (Weicon Surface Cleaner / or Cleaner S may be of use). Once this is done, shake the can of Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 until the mixing ball can be clearly heard. Then, spray from a distance of about 20cm. When using repeatedly in quick succession, shake the can again from time to time.
At room temperature (20ºC) Weicon Anti-Friction Spray MoS2 is dust dry around 15 minutes after application.
