TSE352 Flit Plug Encapsulant is a two part silicone rubber compound designed for the encapsulation and insulation of cable couplings, particularly in the underground mining industry. This high quality product meets the certification requirements of AS 1147.1-1989, Part 1: Materials (Electrical Equipment for Coal Mines, Insulating Materials) and both AS/NZS 60079.0.2005, General Requirements and AS/NZS 60079.18:2005, Encapsulation ‘m’ (Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres).

Capable of service in applications between -54ºC and 204ºC (260ºC for short periods), TSE352 cures at room temperature in 24 hours and remains flexible when cured so that it can absorb cable movement whilst maintaining joint integrity. This low viscosity product is easily poured with good flowability, has a non-flammable catalyst and industry leading dielectric strength.
