Sindanyo L23 is a well-established electrical insulation grade of Sindanyo which offers excellent mechanical properties, outstanding machinability and high dielectric strength. This grade if produced from a specially formulated blend of fibres, density modifiers and cement and is used in applications with continuous temperatures up to 250ºC
Sindanyo L23 is often utilised as the base material in the manufacture of high voltage insulation for the switchgear industry. Its ability to be machined to tight tolerances, coupled with its excellent wear resistance, physical toughness and low thermal conductivity make it an outstanding choice for machining custom insulation components.
