GL15 Adhesive Glass Tape is manufactured from a 0.13mm thick layer of fibreglass cloth combined with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. This tape offer excellent conformability for application to tight bends and turns, good dielectric strength and is used in 155ºC (Class F) rated electrical applications. With an overall thickness of 0.2mm and a rough and absorbent surface, GL15 provides good protection against abrasion and has excellent varnish impregnability.

GL15 is typically used in electrical insulation applications either as secondary insulation or as an overwrap. Its ability to be impregnated with varnishes makes it ideal for use in electric motor and transformer repair and manufacture.

AG carries this tape in a range of standard widths (12mm, 18mm, 24mm) whilst also utilising our extensive slitting facilities to offer custom width rolls to suit individual applications. Standard roll length for GL15 is 55mtrs.
