A thermo-shrinkable tape, Isoseal MF 0611 is manufactured from a combination of impregnated mixed polyester-glass fabric that is combined with a PET film.  Typically used as a final layer above other porous tapes used in the insulation of windings in VPI systems, Isoseal 0611 allows resin to penetrate through its layers during impregnation before shrinking during the curing process to prevent resin drain-out whilst simultaneously applying compressive force to the underlying insulation.
