AG’s fibreglass blanket and batt insulation are popular choices for protecting against heat in a wide range of environments. These versatile forms of thermal insulation material are manufactured from 100% fibreglass yarns that are mechanically needled into a mat with a consistent thickness and density.

Fibreglass blanket and batt offer good mechanical strength, sound absorption and low thermal conductivity whilst being used in applications where temperatures reach 650ºC. The versatility of AG’s fibreglass mats, batts and blankets has led to them being employed as insulation in a wide range of applications, including turbine and furnace insulation, pipe lagging, high temperature gaskets and as a combined thermal & noise insulation material.

AG has also often employed various styles in the construction of customised covers, blankets and composite insulation components as either a filler or facing material.

Available in a wide range of thicknesses, sizes and forms, AG’s fibreglass insulation mat is a highly flexible material that will conform to irregular surfaces whilst also being resistant to water and moisture and meeting US Coast Guard testing requirements for incombustibility.
