3M 5 Clear Polyester Film Tape is a high quality grade of adhesive electrical insulation tape produced by 3M™. Manufactured from a 0.025mm thick layer of clear polyester film combined with an oil compatible pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive this tape offers exceptional physical and electrical strength with an overall thickness of just 0.063mm.

This highly conformable tape is easy to apply and provides good electrical insulation performance in electrical applications rated to a UL recognised 130ºC.

The adhesive system used on 3M 5 Electrical Tape allows this tape to resist attack from most common cleaning solvents whilst the tough polyester film will resist tearing and possesses good tensile strength. 5 Electrical Tape is commonly utilised for the insulation of conductors and leads in medium temperature environments and for the securing and bundling or coils and wiring.

Once applied, 3M 5 Clear Polyester Film Tape provides excellent dielectric strength and performance throughout a long service life.
