3M 2214 Paper Masking Tape is a general purpose grade of masking tape that’s very economical without compromising on the world-class quality for which 3M™ is renowned. This grade is typically used for general holding, bundling, sealing and non-critical masking applications.

Tan in colour, 3M 2214 Paper Masking Tape is manufactured using a crepe paper backing and a rubber based adhesive. 2214 Masking Tape exhibits quick-acting adhesion to a variety of different materials and is highly conformable which allows it to be accurately applied to tight turns and complex shapes.

3M 2214 Paper Masking Tape removes cleanly when exposed to temperatures of up to 93ºC for 30 minutes and is low stretch and tearable by hand (elongation at break is just 10%).

Available Sizes

Standard rolls of 3M 2214 Paper Masking Tape are 0.14mm thick and 54.8mtrs in length. Associated Gaskets’ in-house slitting facilities allow us to offer a complete conversion service for this tape so that we can provide the exact width you require. Standard widths are listed below but custom widths starting from just a couple of millimetres are available on short-lead times and with no minimum order quantity.
