3M 16 Crepe Paper Tape

This grade of tape allows this insulation tape to offer excellent conformability for application to tight turns.

It is commonly used as a coil cover and end-turn insulation on low temperature electrical apparatus.

3M™ 16 Crepe Paper Tape consists of a layer of crepe paper that’s coated with a thermosetting rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. The crepe paper allows this insulation tape to offer excellent conformability for application to tight turns which leads to it being used as a coil cover and end-turn insulation on low temperature electrical apparatus (105ºC maximum temperature). 3M is a market leader in providing high-performance electrical insulation tapes, meaning you can be assured you are using the best quality product for its intended application.
