Weicon Primers are specially formulated for the pre-treatment of surfaces prior to using Weicon’s MS Polymer, Hybrid Polymer or Urethane Based Adhesives. When used in conjunction with these adhesives, higher bond strengths are able to be achieved, especially on materials such as low surface energy plastics and other materials with naturally adhesive-rejecting surfaces.
Weicon Primer E 500 is a silicone-resin, solvent based primer that has been designed especially for silicones. In particular, for pre-treating non-absorbent metal surfaces such as aluminium, steel, brass, copper and zinc as well as tinplate, enamel, ceramic, glass and some non-absorbent plastics prior to the application of silicone.

Available Sizes
Weicon Primer E 500 is available from AG in 250ml tins. Minimum shelf-life for unopened cans is at least 9 months. Once can has been opened it should be used within 3 months.
