Weicon Contact Adhesive Activator is designed for use with Weicon Contact Adhesives and significantly accelerates their cure time.
Use of Weicon Contact Adhesive Activator is suggested when working with:
- Highly viscous Weicon Contact Adhesive types
- Thick layers of adhesive
- Porous or absorbing surfaces and materials
- Passive materials (e.g. zinc coat metal parts)
- Environmental conditions not conducive to bonding (low temperatures, air humidity under 30%)
When applied to absorbing surfaces (e.g. wood, foam) and all chemically treated surfaces (e.g. zinc galvanised parts) Weicon Contact Adhesive Activator has an effective life of approximately 1 minute. When applied to non-absorbent surfaces the Activator’s effectiveness last up to 12 hours.
Weicon Contact Adhesive Activator Spray is available from AG in 150ml aerosols.
