Millboard is an excellent thermal insulation material exhibiting very low thermal conductivity whilst being used in applications ranging up to 1000ºC. Based on mineral fibres, and bound with inorganic binders, Fireshield Millboard does not contain any ceramic fibres. As standalone insulation, Fireshield Millboard is often used for gaskets, furnace linings, boiler insulation, fire protection, heat shield panels, oven linings, and thermal shields and barriers.
At AG, we have extensive experience in fabricating this excellent thermal insulation material either by itself, or by incorporating it with other materials in the construction of metal clad gaskets, syphon-crucible gaskets, or numerous other custom-designed insulation solutions.

In addition to the sizes listed above, Millboard is also available from AG in single sheets and can also be produced in custom thicknesses (either by special production or layering of standard thicknesses) when your application requires it.
