EGSB is a multi-layer, semi-conductive tape consisting of polyester-fabric that has been impregnated with a silicon carbide resin mixture in B-stage.  This flexible material offers excellent adhesive properties which ensure a complete seal between the layers of EGSB.

Available only in tape form (20mm wide as standard), EGSB 2709 is used as voltage distressing covering on the overhang parts of coils which are insulated in a VPI system.  Information on pre-curing, covering and layering is available upon request.
