3M 69 Adhesive Glass Tape is a white tape manufactured from a layer of high tensile strength glass cloth combined with a high temperature thermosetting silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. 69 Adhesive Tape offers high mechanical strength, good edge tear resistance and excellent insulation performance.

The silicone thermosetting adhesive provides an increasingly high strength bond once applied in areas with high ambient temperatures all the way up to 200ºC. This tape carries UL recognised flame retardancy characteristics, features a non-corrosive adhesive and is highly conformable to allow easy and even application to tight bends.

Manufactured from 0.125mm fibreglass cloth (total tape thickness is 0.177mm), 3M 69 Adhesive Glass Tape offers excellent longevity and reliable performance.

3M 69 Adhesive Glass Tape is often used for the insulation of furnace supply leads, securing high temperature insulation in high temperature areas and for the re-insulation and repair of coils on high temperature machines. It also has a variety of electric motor and transformer applications including as an outer wrap for bobbin wound coils, as banding around coils and end turn and lead anchor insulation.
