Rubber and Cork Gaskets and Seals
For sealing at relatively low temperatures, pressures and bolt loads, AG’s range of elastomeric cork and rubber materials make economical and reliable options. This range includes high quality rubberised cork sheeting in a variety of grades, thicknesses and sizes (some are also available by the roll) all of which can be custom fabricated based on either standard gasket dimensions, samples, sketches or dimension lists.
In addition to this, AG’s range of rubber materials encompasses an enormous number of grades, hardnesses, colours, thicknesses and roll sizes. Common grades such as Natural Rubber Insertion, Neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile and Silicone are all available in a number of different configurations with stock of each held in all of our branches for quick delivery. Gaskets and seals for standard size connections are often held on the shelf, whilst custom gaskets can be turned around quickly to match urgent lead times.
Fibre, PTFE and Graphite Gaskets
When an application requires a gasket capable of higher pressure or temperature sealing, or the medium is more aggressive, AG has the materials to cover that too. Our range of compressed fibre materials includes grades capable of everything from economical, day-to-day sealing applications through to highly corrosive media, high temperatures and the pulsating pressures commonly found in exhaust applications. This range of products is stocked without deference to brand which means we’re able to offer you the very best material, without compromises.
Complementing these materials, AG also offers a variety of graphite or PTFE based materials. Graphite based gaskets are particularly adept at withstanding high temperature environments with many also available with metallic reinforcements that allow them to seal higher pressure applications. Conversely, our range of PTFE based materials (including grades such as Gore-Tex by Gore™, TopChem, Gylon and many more) are excellent for sealing corrosive fluids and mediums and provide long lasting performance in even the most demanding of applications.
Metallic Plate, Shims and Components
AG’s large range of stocked grades of metallic plate and shim are all available for immediate delivery. This range includes copper, mild and stainless steel grades as well as aluminium and brass and many others. In addition to providing raw material by the sheet (or in the case of our shim) by the metre, we are also able to offer the benefit of our fabrication services to provide fully fabricated metallic components to suit your application.
Whether it is annealed copper washers, precision cut and deburred shim or metallic plates, AG has the capacity, stock and experience needed to provide you with the exact component you require.
Plastic Sheet, Rod, Tube, Shim and Components
AG’s range of engineering plastics includes popular grades such as Nylon, HDPE, UHMWPE, PTFE, Polyurethane and PVC as well as specialised polycarbonates, Acetal and acrylics. All can be provided in sheet or custom fabricated component form with many also available in rods or tubes of various sizes.
Cut components can be provided on short lead times whilst full machined or moulded items can all be produced quickly, with low setup costs and small tolerances.
Thermal Insulation Solutions
AG’s enormous range of thermal insulation materials means we can help you protect your personnel and equipment from the danger of high temperatures. Our wide range includes a selection of high temperature boards, cloths, tapes, ropes and sleevings all of which can be custom fabricated to suit your application. For insulating demanding applications, AG will work with you to identify the best material(s), test the measurements and produce the insulation required. We have extensive experience at designing insulation solutions for hard-to-access environments and will be happy to assist wherever we can.
Electrical Insulation Solutions
No matter the insulation application, AG has the product you require. Our extensive range of insulating tapes, sleevings, ropes, compounds, coatings, flexible and rigid materials has the vast majority of common applications covered whilst our experienced team will be happy to work with you to identify the best solution for your application.
Whether you require heat shrink sleeving for insulation cable connections, the actual high-voltage cable itself, or insulating tapes, silicones, compounds or air-dry varnishes to finish the job, AG has the products you require. Like the rest of our range, AG holds extensive stock of all of our electrical insulation materials which allows for fast delivery and minimal downtimes.
Adhesives, Lubricants and Cleaners
AG is proud to be able to offer a comprehensive range of products designed for a wide range of industrial repair & maintenance applications. Our partnership with Weicon enables us to offer all of their high quality technical sprays & liquids, one and two part adhesives, contact adhesives, repair sticks, plastic metals, cleaners, anti-seize pastes and all-round lubricants.

Industrial Tapes
By combining world leading materials with our extensive slitting and tape converting facilities, AG is able to offer high quality industrial tapes suitable for use in the demanding applications commonly found in the transport sector.
This range includes our full variety of 3M adhesive, insulating, and specialised tapes in addition to all kinds of safety (lane marking, grip and reflective), high temperature, double sided and bonding tapes.
Custom width rolls, specialised lengths and individual packaging can all be arranged to suit the needs of your application and systems.
Silicones & Primers
As agents and stockists for Momentive silicones (formerly GE), AG is proud to be able to offer a complete range of silicone sealants and associated primers. This range includes everything from standard industrial grades through to highly specialised encapsulants, adhesives and sealants. Many are designed for use with sensitive electronics whilst others are dedicated to providing an effective, long lasting seal in even the most arduous of environments.
