A universal style of compressed fibre that combines good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and media with high pressure resistance and medium temperature tolerance.

This material is typically used for the sealing of oils, gases, fuels, hydrocarbons, lubricants and moderate organic and inorganic acids.

C4400 Gasket Material is a universal style of compressed fibre that combines good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and media with high pressure resistance and medium temperature tolerance. Green on both sides, this material is typically used for the sealing of oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, hydrocarbons, lubricants, refrigerants and moderate organic and inorganic acids.

C4400 is typically used in applications that have a maximum expected temperature of 175ºC, though a gasket materials maximum temperature is related to expected sealing pressure and the media type being sealed meaning that any decision on a materials suitability should only be made after accounting for these factors as well.

C4400 Gasket Material is manufactured with low adhesion surface coatings for easy installation and removal and has also been tested in accordance with a large number of international standards (including BAM, DIN-DVGW, KTW and Germanischer Lloyd).

AG offers this quality, universal style of compressed fibre gaskets material in standard sheets measuring 2000mm / 1500mm and in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm. We also supply C4400 gasket material in part sheets and in fully fabricated gaskets and components.

Fabricated items can be supplied to match all standard flange sizes or produced to suit custom sized flanges based on dimension lists, samples, sketches or drawings. As with all of our custom made gaskets, all of these can be delivered on short lead times and with no minimum order quantity.
